NEWS AND UPDATES ABOUT SEA TURTLES VISIT GHANA

HATCH believes increasing awareness of the role sea turtles play in the marine environment is an important part of any sea turtle conservation program.  With the Ghana Wildlife Division, students and volunteers of HATCH offer presentations on sea turtle conservation and the importance of protecting the resources provided by the sea.  We are available to give powerpoint presentations, show videos, lead discussions, play games, and give seminars.

In Ada Foah, we have given presentations in several of the primary and secondary schools to several hundred school children.  We have also played wildlife videos in the communities and have led discussions about sea turtle conservation with many of the fishing villages along the beach.

If you are an educator in Ghana or are involved with any organization or community that would be interested in learning more about sea turtles, we are more than happy to organize a program for you.  Please contact HATCH for more details.
